ERM US Board Members - 2007

Pastor Emmanuel Sitaki Kayinamura is a survivor of the 1994 Genocide in Rwanda. He was born in Ngoma-Butare, Rwanda, Central Africa. In 1992 he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Management in Kinshasa Rep. Of Congo. In 1999 Emmanuel married Françoise, they have two children, one adopted niece, and are responsible for 9 orphans of the Genocide.  Emmanuel was ordained as an evangelist in his local church, president of the management committee of a national church association and member of a national association that coordinates crusades. He also worked with the United Nations in Rwanda from June 1997 to March 2003. In 2003 God called Emmanuel to leave his family and country to be educated and equipped for training other pastors and leaders in Rwanda. Emmanuel is currently living in Portland, Oregon. Founder and President of Evangelical Revival Ministries (ERM). He is also an elder at Central Bible Church in Portland, OR.

Pastor David Stevens and his family were missionaries in France for 15 years before coming to Central Bible Church, in Portland, Oregon in the year 2000. David’s greatest joy in ministry comes from communicating God’s Word and seeing its impact in individual lives. His favorite language is French and his favorite sport is snow skiing.  

David and his wife Mary Alice have four children: Justin, Mary Lynne, and Rebecca (married to a previous CBC youth intern!). Their oldest son, Jonathan, entered his heavenly home in 2004. David is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary (1982) with a Masters of Theology. He also holds a Doctorate of Theology from the Faculté Evangélique de Vaux-sur-Seine near Paris, France.

Pastor Martin Cline  - ERM Board member Martin Cline was born and raised in Tacoma Washington. Relocating to Portland for graduate studies during which he became a member of Central Bible Church. After completing Seminary he was ordained July of 2006 through Central Bible Church. Currently he serves as a fulltime resident Hospital Chaplain in Seattle Washington. Education: M.Div. Multnomah Biblical Seminary; BA Soc. Washington State University. Ministry focus: adult singles, visitation, corporate sponsorship and short term missions. Personal Interests: cross training, jogging and music. Other careers: social work and early childhood education.

Christopher Kelly Lawer - Technical/Media chair - Currently, attending Multnomah Biblical Seminary part time working a Masters in Pastoral Studies. He was inspired to work with ERM through the testimony of Emmanuel and others that he met on the mission trip to Rwanda in July of 06. He works on our newsletters and website. 

Sky Cady - Marketing Chair - Graduated from Multnomah Bible College and since then has served short term in over 30 countries. He is the founder and director of the Summer Discipleship School located in Eugene Oregon. He is currently attending Fuller Theological seminary for his masters in Theology and missions. "When I first met Emmanuel it was a divine appointment. We went out to breakfast and talked about Rwanda and the work God was doing there, I heard Emmanuel's story, and then I knew that this man was anointed by God. It is an honor to help him in the work of Evangelical Revival Ministries."

Karen Pearson - Child Sponsorship Chair -  She visited Rwanda as a member of the Central Bible Summer 2006 team.  There, her heart was touched by the many orphans she met and by the inspirational testimonies of several widows.  Karen is originally from St. Paul, Minnesota.  Holding Bachelor of Arts in Architecture and Master of Architecture degrees, she works in architecture and is most passionate about building projects related to community development.

Tim Radmacher – Fundraising Chair –In Rwanda, as part of the Central Bible Summer 2006 team, I was touched by the heart of the people I met, by how much need existed, and what it was I felt like God had called me to do in support of the ministry of ERM. As an artist, I was inspired to express the things I had seen and felt through painting, but also wanted to see certain objectives that I envisioned for ERM come to fruition. I graduated from Portland State in Graphic Design, and have been working in web based reporting for the banking industry for the past 9 years.
