Pastoral Training

ERM is focusing on the training pastors and evangelist. In general the Great Lakes region in Central Africa is facing a great lack of biblical knowledge in its pastors and evangelist.  There is a great need for this training, as only one percent of the pastors and evangelist have a general high school diploma with almost no biblical training.

We are organizing a different trip for volunteers who want to train pastors and evangelist.  We are planning on doing regular training mission trips with volunteers from western nations who have an open heart for training evangelist and pastors.

In April 2007 we worked with ITEM ministries to conduct a week long training for 70 pastors. The training was conducted in Kigali.

In July of 2007 we worked 300 pastors and evangelist were trained in leadership and basic knowledge useful for pastors.

Will you consider to sponsor the pastoral training programs with ERM in Rwanda? For a donation of $75 a month we can provide training to one pastor for five days (This covers lunch, notes, transportation one way, and covers the transportation of the lecturer).

For organizations or churches that would like to partner with ERM and provide the training to the pastors and evangelist, the cost is about $2500 for the basic seminars for 5 days that can train 200 pastors and evangelist.
