Pastoral Training
The Great Lakes region in Central Africa is facing a great lack of biblical knowledge in its pastors and evangelists. There is a great need for this pastoral and evangelist training, as only one percent of the pastors and evangelist have a general high school diploma with almost no biblical training.
ERM understands the importance of this need and we are organizing trips for volunteers who want to train pastors and evangelist. We have partnered with International Training and Equipping Ministries (ITEM) ministries in the past and were able to reach and train nearly 400 pastors and evangelist in Kigali. Pastors and evangelist learn critical leadership skills and basic knowledge useful for reaching their communities. In 2008, Pastor Greg, led a team that taught a basic inductive bible study course and we hope to continue this work in the coming years.
Would you consider sponsoring the pastoral training programs with ERM in Rwanda? For a donation of $75 we can provide training to one pastor for five days. This fee covers lunch, notes, one-way transportation, and the transportation of the lecturer. Consider sponsoring a pastor as a one time donation for this bible training program.
For organizations or churches that would like to partner with ERM and provide the training to pastors and evangelists, the cost is about $2,500 for the basic seminars for five days that can train 200 pastors and evangelists. This includes accommodations and meals.
