» We're nearly off!
Team Rwanda is about to shove off! We’ve had an amazing journey up ’til now watching God orchestrate the lives of 13 people in strategic and wonderful ways that no one could have ever accomplished using human methods. We leave Monday morning from PDX, 7:45 a.m., and will end up touching ground in Kigali, Rwanda at 11:25 in the morning, Wednesday, September 17th. We’ll enjoy a brief stopover in Washington D.C., before we head over the water and make a stop in Rome, Italy, only to fly to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and spend the night. We’re up and at ‘em early the next morning for our final leg of the journey into Kigali.
Our plan is to post to this blog regularly, as i-net is available, so stay tuned! We plan to post pictures and funny stories, but mostly to chronolog what our amazing Lord does in and through us. Pray for our safety, our families while we’re away, and especially for the Holy Spirit to have complete sway over every member of the team.
Team Rwanda- building bridges of love, with a dedicated team of men and women who love Jesus, each other, and are willing to invest in eternity by ministering to orphans and widows in the land of a thousand hills.

Hi everyone…we’ve landed on the ground in Ethiopia tonight, and we’re all gathered around one single computer desperately trying to get word out to our loved ones on “dial up” that we are all absolutely having a blast, drinking lots of bottled water, enjoying very tight quarters on a jet for a very long time…We’re safe.
We’re good. We’re happy…We sleep in real beds tonight in a hotel, go to the airport in the a.m. to fly to Kigali and we will be there about 11:00 tomorrow morning…God’s good. We’ve witnessed to many fellow travelers, and even people in airports waiting for flights. God has given us great opportunities to share already.
