Saturday

We decided to go ahead with class today and take Monday off. We had a smaller group in English class, but we were able to play a game and have some fun. Many of them are very enthusiastic about learning – and even our driver Pascale sat in on the class. They all want to learn English very badly and it doesn’t embarass them to sit in class with younger students. [...]

Making Progress

A Frustrating Day

We were up and out to Kabuga by about 9:00am for Traci to teach English classes. These young people are so enthusiastic and seem to want to learn. Some of them already know a bit of English, but others only know “How are you today” and “My name is…” These two phrases seem to be know by almost everyone.
