» ERM Mission Team in Rwanda right now!

ERM has a team of 8 people traveling in Rwanda currently!  We value the prayer of our partners and supporters, especially as we send teams to work in the beautiful country of Rwanda!
We value acts of mercy that build bridges of Christian love, reaching victims of genocide. Let us together rebuild what the enemy destroyed, and bring Hope to the country of Rwanda!

The Team

May 2010 ERM Mission Trip

This is our team (all except Tamara).  They will be leaving the US on May 27- June 11.  They are excited about what God will do as they serve in Rwanda!

Emmanuel Sitaki-Kayinamura

Emmanuel, founder and leader of ERM will be leading this group.  This picture was taken on his last trip to Rwanda, and as you can see he loves his country and loves to visit!   He will be helping coordinate all the member of the team – connecting them with the right people, arranging interpreters, helping teaching pastors, transportation, and just generally being on the phone constantly.

Debbie Dougall

This will be Debbie’s third trip to Rwanda.  This time she will be able to stay for 3 months, returning in August.  She plans to teach ESL (English as a Second Language)using mostly the Bible and is very excited to teach a Ladies Bible study.

Mike Thibodeaux

Mike will be returning to Rwanda for a second time.  His heart is to share reconciliation, forgiveness, and the hope of the gospel to a hurting nation.  He will also be teaching a 5-day seminar “Simple Evangelism” to about 50 pastors.

Charles Warren

This will be Charles’ first trip to Rwanda.  He will be assisting Mike with preaching some evenings at local churches.  He will also be conducting business planning evaluation for some business ideas ERM has in Rwanda.

Tim Kimble

Tim is planning on investigating what it would take to open a Christian internet cafe in Rwanda.  It has long been a desire of ERM to have this type of business available in Rwanda for public use to generate income for ERM, but also preaching the Gospel and teaching classes to help the orphans and widows learn the computer.

TJ Saling-Caldwell

TJ will be traveling to Rwanda with her son to meet and interact with orphans.  Their church is interested in sponsorship, so she will be interviewing and taking pictures to bring back to  her church. She will be also helping the bible study program.

Jacob Saling

Jacob will be assissting his mom in taking pictures, and playing with the orphans.  He may even have an opportunity to get his hands dirty as they finish the woodworking shop in Kabuga. Jacob will be sharing the love of Christ  Jesus with the orphans and children in general.

Tamara Faris

This will be Tamara’s second trip to Rwanda with ERM.  The Memory Books were very popular last year, so she will spend some time training others to use these books so that they can continue the work of healing among  these children who were traumatized by the 1994 genocide. This is a great opportunity for these children to write their stories from inside out!
