This morning at breakfast Steve Emerson shared a devotion that spoke to all of us.  He shared about how it can often be frustrating to come to a place with so many needs and be overwhelmed.  He reminded us that Jesus said, “The poor you will always have with you…”  We can only do the small piece that God has called each of us to do.  For us this week, it was helping the poor in Rwanda.  He also read to us from the Last Chapter – Revelations.  He reminded us that there will be a new Heaven and a new Earth.  God is ultimately the victor, and there will be no poor, no suffering, no death and no tears.  Praise God!  What a great reminder as the team heads home.

There was not much time, but we went to the market this morning to get some last minute souveniers.  Bargaining was on the agenda.  Steve had a great time doing that – some of the others had translators to bargain for them.  Then it was off to the airport.

Emmanuel, Krysti, Arlene and David stayed behind and will return in a week.  Arlene and David are in the north doing ministry there and will be returning to Kigali tomorrow, Thursday.

Pray for safe travels for the team.
