» Another Day On The Job
Another day on the job site. Most of the team was out at the Kabuga site working on projects there. Krysti and Debbie continued with the ladies, teaching them how to better use the electric sewing machines and talking with them a little more about their ideas regarding the opening of a wedding dress shop here in Kigali. We were able to bring over about seven wedding dresses with us in our trusty bins, and when they were pulled out of the bins today, the ladies had a ball going through them. A few of them tried the dresses on and every one took pictures and had a great time.
The men did their best to plot out an area for the building to be used for woodworking, but ran into some difficulty because there was no straight line off of which to plot, this being Africa and everything. They did manage to get the job done. Men from the surroundings helped by beginning to dig the foundation by hand. Tomorrow, a surveyor is coming to survey the land and let them know where the property line is. This will help them get that straight line that they need.
Mike had the opportunity to preach today at the church of one of our translators, whose name is Tom. His message on forgiveness was powerful and the people responded with humble and honest hearts.
Arlene went to another prison today and had a wonderful time handing out scarves to the women prisoners and meeting with prison officials and preaching to the inmates. She preached to 2000 today and again, she met with a great response. After speaking to them about taking responsibility for their actions, one prisoner stood up and confessed his sins to the other prisoners. Arlene could hardly hold back her tears as she recounted her day to the rest of us this evening. God is moving mightily in Rwanda.
Please pray for:
Mike is preaching twice tomorrow and would like a little air support on that.
Arlene’s ministry as she’s headed to yet another prison tomorrow.
Things to run smoothly in Kabuga
Continued health and safety for all of the team
and for our fearless leader, Emmanuel, who’s running in all different directions.
Shelli, for the team.

Hey Guys & Gals,
Just wanted to say thanks for the hard work and for the updates. I’ve been checking about every couple of days and I just figured out how to respond. Iam a genius you know!! (The Emersons will understand) Anyway, I want to pray for you all right now… God, thanks you for your love and care in bringing this team together and I pray for continued safety and success in the work that you are doing in Rwanda through Emmanual and this group. Let your word go out in power and many be saved. Bless each one as they show others what Jesus looks like. God bless you all.
