I’m back in country, especially in Pullman, WA!
We had a great mission trip with Mike and Bill!
Here is the summary of our May-June Mission Trip in the Northern Region of Rwanda!
May-June Rwanda Mission Report 2011!
The scopes of our mission Trip were:
Pastors Conference May 31-June 3.2011: With the partnership of Simplicity Ministries, 175 pastors were trained in Simple Evangelism in Ruhengeri, Northern Region of Rwanda! We had also some pastors from Democratic Republic of Congo who attended our Conference!
Four Crusades June 4, 5, 6 and 7.2011: We served to an approximated total of 7,495 people; 207 professed faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord!
Ministry at ERM Vocational Training Center June 8th 2011: On Wednesday morning, we drove from the Northern Region to Kigali, a two hours drive. Our schedule in Kigali was to go directly at Kabuga ERM Vocational Training Center, where we met 65 students, two teachers, two security guards, and minister to them. This was a blessed day really, as my desire is and will be to minister to these orphans and widows who’re coming to us with a need to get career skills, which they can use for income generating or creating jobs; we’re using the holistic evangelism method at ERM! We can’t pretend preaching people with empty stomach, but when we’re bringing orphans and widows in our Vocational Training Center, this creates a confident environment and Hope for the future, and openness! It’s happening at the Training Center! The dream is becoming a reality! Praise to our Lord God! Partnering with Simplicity Ministry has been such a blessing in the process! Among 65 students who attend in our Training Center in Kabuga, 50 professed Christ as Savior and Lord after Mike sharing with them the Gospel!
The total converts, in our two weeks mission trip with simplicity ministries was 257 who professed faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord! We’re very thankful to God, and to people who prayed, supported us and sent us in Rwanda! May the blessings of our Lord God be with you all!
After seeing what God did, we were very thankful that Mike and Simplicity Ministries offered each one of the new convert to Christ our Lord, a new Bible!
Our thanks to Bill who did the video, which we’re hoping to use as an ERM promo for the future soon.
After the conference, and the crusades I took care of some businesses at our Training Center in Kabuga, and met with our National Staff. The machinery maintenance of the woodworking shop was done; the truck repair started right after our mission trip, and is ready and running! All these things couldn’t get done without your supports and prayers.
Once again, thanks dearest partners of Hope! You’re changing lives! One orphan and one widow at the time!
I believe that together, we’re building a better life for these loved ones and working toward our goals: Bringing back their dignities, the only way we can honor the loss of our families!
In His Grace,
Emmanuel Sitaki
