We decided to go ahead with class today and take Monday off. We had a smaller group in English class, but we were able to play a game and have some fun. Many of them are very enthusiastic about learning – and even our driver Pascale sat in on the class. We were up and out to Kabuga by about 9:00am for Traci to teach English classes. These young people are so enthusiastic and seem to want to learn. Some of them already know a bit of English, but others only know “How are you today” and “My name is…” These two phrases seem to be know by almost everyone. After getting up late – getting some much needed ‘jet lag” sleep, we made our way to the Kabuga site. We are Here! [excerpt]

We arrived safely in Rwanda last night, Tuesday the 15th of February. We were greeted by our wonderful Rwandan friends and a typical Rwandan meal. So begins our stay in Rwanda.
Today, Wednesday we will spend getting prepared for the weeks ahead. The woodworking machines are still in customs, but maybe with Emmanuel here that can be resolved soon. Please pray that they will be released. We will be meeting with [...]
