Hi everyone!
This is being composed at the end of another very long day…10:40 p.m.–but what a day! What an amazing God we serve. The team is fully bonded, much laughter, concern for one another, and a great sense of unity, however showing a few signs of wear, getting up early, bed late, major intensive days with MASSIVE change-ups, sometimes several times a day! Well, the last 24 hours has been a complete change from the schedule that “We” planned. (Do you have a few hours???)
First off the children’s ministry wasn’t supposed to start until next Monday, but we found out last night that the local church had something else that was conflicting so we had to start today. We are all well and ready to go, just waiting as our luggage and bins show up on the carousel (thank God for free wireless internet). Still waiting on a couple bins and suitcases, pray they all arrive on time.

Team Rwanda is about to shove off! We’ve had an amazing journey up ’til now watching God orchestrate the lives of 13 people in strategic and wonderful ways that no one could have ever accomplished using human methods. We leave Monday morning from PDX, 7:45 a.m., and will end up touching ground in Kigali, Rwanda at 11:25 in the morning, Wednesday, September 17th.
